Obama’s verbal slip fuels his critics

Monday, September 8th, 2008

Obama to a slip of the tongue about his faith that some are already taking out of context and using against him in emails and blogs.

“What I was suggesting — you’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you’re absolutely right that that has not come.”

Mr. Stephanopoulos interrupted with, “Christian faith.”

“My Christian faith,” Mr. Obama said quickly.

This was an obvious verbal miscue.  I think it’s wrong and unproductive to continue to suggest that Obama is Muslim.  Yes, he has a Muslim history.  His father was Muslim and Obama spent some time in a Muslim school.  But, he has been attending a Christian church for 20 years. Now, it is a strange form of Christianity that he has been a hearing to.  Black liberation theology teaches God is black and the enemy is white.  Obama has still not answered any questions about he believes in Black liberation theology.

However, there are plenty of reasons beyond religion not to vote for Obama and I think we should concentrate on those.  His socialist leanings on tax policy, spending policy, healthcare policy, Social Security policy, etc. those of the things we should be focusing on.

Guantanamo hearing opens for five 9/11 conspirators

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I’m waiting for the wringing hand crowd to tell us how horrible it is that we are not giving these foreign terror suspects all of the rights you and I have under the constitution.

The alleged mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks, called Thursday to be sentenced to death saying he wanted to be a martyr.

Okay, KSM, I wouldn’t want to stand in the way of your wish.

Sheikh Mohammed, 43, has claimed to have been behind not just the September 11 attacks but also some 30 operations against the West in the past decade, according to transcripts of his interrogation released by the Pentagon.

I’m sure the Rev. Wright would say these are just are chickens coming home to roost. Well a cock-a-doodle-freakin’-do.

Rev. Wright Beyond the Bite; See His Context for Yourself

Friday, April 25th, 2008
Click here to read a fuller version of the two Wright sermons, one from the first Sunday after 9/11, “The Day of Jerusalem’s Fall,” and the other delivered in April 2003, entitled “Confusing God and Government.”

Left out of the original sound bites broadcast on “Good Morning America” were Wright’s version of how America was built on terror, his description of the United States “as an arrogant, racist, military superpower,” and comments on the wealth or success of Oprah Winfrey, Colin Power, Condoleezza Rice and Tiger Woods.

Hat tip: ABC news. Yup, you have to go to the full sermons to really understand that Rev. Wright is a racist, anti-American, hate monger. Watch the interview tonight. The Rev. is on his best behavior and Moyers is kissing his… (Posted by Greg)
