Dear Mr. Obama

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

Wow. This is compelling.  Make sure you watch until the soldier walks away.  It is even more hard hittingon the news that .  Obama tried to undermine our negotiations with the Iraqi governmentduring his last trip. Here is the latest on that story.

Guantanamo hearing opens for five 9/11 conspirators

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I’m waiting for the wringing hand crowd to tell us how horrible it is that we are not giving these foreign terror suspects all of the rights you and I have under the constitution.

The alleged mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks, called Thursday to be sentenced to death saying he wanted to be a martyr.

Okay, KSM, I wouldn’t want to stand in the way of your wish.

Sheikh Mohammed, 43, has claimed to have been behind not just the September 11 attacks but also some 30 operations against the West in the past decade, according to transcripts of his interrogation released by the Pentagon.

I’m sure the Rev. Wright would say these are just are chickens coming home to roost. Well a cock-a-doodle-freakin’-do.

Democrats eye new war bill for social programs

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Since they can’t get us to surrender, they’re trying to use the war to increase spending on things that have nothing to do with the war.

House Democratic leaders, acknowledging that they cannot force a U.S. pullout from Iraq, plan to use the administration’s $108 billion war request as a vehicle to pass billions of dollars in election-year domestic spending.\

It’s despicable that you try to hold our troops in battle hostage to increase the spending you want to buy votes. You should have to convince Americans and Congress to spend for these things on their own merits, NOT on the backs of our men and women in harm’s way.

Alleged head of al-Qaida in Somalia said killed in airstrike

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

I think this is al-Qaida’s chicken’s coming home to roost.

The spokesman for the Islamic al-Shabab militia, Sheik Muqtar Robow, said the strike killed Aden Hashi Ayro, his brother and seven others at his house in the central Somali town of Dusamareeb, about 300 miles north of Mogadishu. Six more people were wounded.

“Our brother martyr Aden Hashi, has received what he was looking for _ death for the sake of Allah _ at the hands of the United States.”

I’m glad we could help. Anyone else who would like to die for Allah, step forward and raise your hand. We can take care of you right now. Really, no waiting. We’re here to help.

‘Provocative’ Clinton angers Iran

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Hillary did kind of sound like a “cowboy” on Iran the other day.

The Democratic presidential hopeful said last week the US could “totally obliterate” Iran if it attacked Israel.

“If I’m the president, we will attack Iran… we would be able to totally obliterate them.”

Next thing you know, she’ll be saying, “Bring it on!” Iran is angry, strong letter to follow:

In a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Mehdi Danesh-Yazdi, Iran’s deputy ambassador to the UN, said Mrs Clinton had “unwarrantedly and under erroneous and false pretexts threatened to use force against the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

Hamas Leader Vows Not to Recognize Israel After Carter Trumpets Terror Group’s Willingness to Be Good ‘Neighbor’

Monday, April 21st, 2008

…Gee, what a shock. Carter is wrong about Hamas. Maybe he just hasn’t talked sweetly enough to the terrorists.

Just hours after former President Jimmy Carter trumpeted Hamas’ agreement to let Israel “live as a neighbor,” the same terrorist leader he met with face-to-face vowed not to recognize the Jewish state.

But Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal did offer Israel a 10-year truce if it withdraws from all lands it seized in the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.

Well, that’s good enough for Jimmy boy. Look at how much Hamas is willing to give up. They get back land they lost when Israel was attacked and they promise not to shoot rockets at civilians and to stop blowing themselves up for ten years. It’s a no brainer.

Jimmy, go back to building houses.

Al Qaeda planning Baghdad attacks, says U.S.

Friday, April 18th, 2008

Al Qaeda in Iraq is planning suicide attacks against Iraqis in Baghdad “in the near future,” the U.S. military warned Friday.

This is the problem with this type of war. If the terrorists set off a few bombs, they are winning and we are losing. That is not the measure of the war. As long as we continue to move closer to Iraqis taking over their country and Iraqis tracking down the terrorists, we are winning. The people of Iraq are turning against al Qaeda. That is winning. When we can leave with Iraqis preventing a new terror haven for attacks on America, we will have won the battle of Iraq. The war on Islamofascism will continue.
